* This Tzedakah is being collected for a family, where a young mother and wife has been struggling with an illness, your help is needed!!!

UPDATE: It was a snowy night and I had to push myself to go (you know what it's like to be cuddling with the kids at night putting them to bed, it puts me in the pillow mode). But I really wanted to show my support - and it turns out so did so many others.

There were so many wonderful items to bid on.

I bid for and won art work by Dan Weinstein, you can check out his work on www.danweinsteinsart.com. I've been admiring his work and it felt good to help others while helping myself.

Congrats to Toby B on winning the photo session! I know Toby will enjoy a full session, she has been a regular for my summer specials for a couple of years now. I can't wait to photograph you GORGEOUS kids!

Update: I made the call. It was AWESOME. The WINNER, was notified prior to my call by the friends who nominated her and her family. She was GIDDY and EXCITED and SHOCKED and GRATEFUL. It was wonderful!

I love walking into your house and using your props and furniture to make your image uniquely yours. I recommend that every new born baby have their photo taken before 2 weeks for that fresh, wrinkled look that last so short but should be remembered for eternity.

Drumroll please...

Anyone who has been to my studio has seen the serious drum set my husband has. It has been a source of bribery for many boys (and girls) to co-operate and then they will get to hit a few. Little Shmuel is adorable and friendly, but he got very tired, the only thing that calmed him down was the much smaller but just as fun bongos.
